The Vandoren BD4 HD Black Diamond Bb Clarinet Mouthpiece 13 Series is suited to players wanting a rich natural sound with reliable tuning at A = 440Hz. Made from high density ebonite it helps you hear more of your clarinets natural tone with a round full-bodied timbre across the entire range. With a BD4 tip opening you get a balanced response that leans towards control helping you keep your sound stable while staying expressive.Youll notice how easily the sound speaks with smooth articulation and a stable feel at different dynamics. This makes it easier to stay in control whether youre playing softly or pushing for more projection. Its optimised for accurate pitch at A = 440Hz helping you stay in tune across different settings. The medium long facing adds flexibility giving you more control over articulation while maintaining a comfortable even response. It also gives you a more consistent feel between sessions so you can focus on playing rather than adjusting.
