The Warm Audio WA-47F Large Diaphragm FET Condenser Microphone bases its design on one of the most iconic microphones ever made providing a faithful recreation that replicates the original sound. The 47-style FET design was revered in the music world for its intelligibility fast transients and rich overall sound. It has been used in countless hit recordings by artists such as Daft Punk Dave Grohl David Lee Roth and many more. At the heart of the WA-47F is a meticulously recreated K47-style capsule which provides an ultra-wide frequency response capturing every nuance from the source. The microphone also features a specialised TAB-Funkenwek USA output transformer and Fairchild FETs to deliver the classic warmth associated with classic microphones. The original was regarded as the go-to microphone for any artist - ideal for recording vocals guitar cabs and kick drums. Its ability to handle loud sound sources makes it one of the most versatile microphones available. Attenuate your sound using the onboard filter and pad. The -10dB pad is useful for recording louder sound sources allowing you to eliminate distortion and prevent signal overload. The onboard low-cut filter (140 Hz) is perfect for removing unwanted low-end rumbles and low-cutting vocals - saving time during post-processing. The microphone itself is constructed from a nickel-plated brass body with an expanded headbasket to optimise the capsules performance. The WA-47F also comes complete with a quality wooden box for storing and transporting your mic as well as a hard mount.
