Available from Gear4Music at € 678,51.

The Yamaha CSM1465A 14" x 6.5" Concert Snare Drum is a versatile orchestral snare for schools ensembles and concert percussionists. Built with an 8-ply maple shell it produces a warm controlled tone while still delivering the clear snap needed for articulate passages. The revised shell design supports detailed playing helping subtle dynamics and ghost notes come through with clarity.Practical hardware keeps things simple during rehearsals and performances. Yamahas compact Q type strainer lets you engage or release the snares quickly and quietly which is especially helpful when switching between musical sections. Stainless straight cable snares are carefully matched to the drum head for a balanced consistent sound while the extra deep snare bed improves contact with the bottom head for a more responsive feel. With a refined badge attached the CSM1465A offers a clean professional look suited to concert settings.
