Yamaha Neo Cornet Mouthpiece 16TRD Medium Shank

Available from Gear4Music at € 70,38.

The Yamaha Neo Cornet Mouthpiece 16TRD is suited to solo performers who need agile response control and warmth. Based on a classic mouthpiece shape it offers a free-blowing feel that helps you move confidently through technical passages while maintaining a centred expressive tone. The standard cup depth and semi-wide backbore combine to give you a balanced response with dependable control across the range perfect for solo performance. Its medium shank design provides the level of resistance often preferred for British brass band Bb cornets helping your playing feel stable and consistent in ensemble settings. Yamahas Neo specialised treatment also adds extra warmth and tonal depth giving notes a fuller character without losing clarity. With a semi-round rim contour and responsive airflow from the 3.86 mm throat this mouthpiece supports comfortable articulation and flexible playing.
