Yamaha Neo Cornet Mouthpiece 17E Medium Shank

Available from Gear4Music at € 70,38.

The Yamaha Neo Cornet Mouthpiece 17E is suited to advanced players who need flexibility depth and a powerful tonal character. Its newly shaped rim and deep cup design provide a high-capacity feel with smooth response helping you move easily through demanding passages while maintaining a broad centred sound. The deep cup and semi-wide backbore work together to produce a fuller more resonant tone with controlled airflow and dependable projection. This setup gives you a free-blowing feel without sacrificing stability making it useful for both solo and ensemble playing. Its medium shank design provides the resistance commonly preferred for British brass band Bb cornets keeping articulation consistent across the range. Yamahas Neo specialised heat treatment also enhances warmth and tonal depth while the 3.91 mm throat supports strong airflow and flexible response for confident playing.
