Yamaha Neo Tenor Horn Mouthpiece 38D

Available from Gear4Music at € 70,38.

The Yamaha Neo Tenor Horn Mouthpiece is suited to tenor horn players seeking balanced tone and control. Designed specifically with British brass bands in mind it uses Yamahas Neo Specialised Heat Treatment (NSHT) a manufacturing process that alters the brass structure to help produce greater warmth depth and tonal complexity. This helps you shape phrases more clearly whether youre blending in section work or stepping forward for solos. The moderately large cup works with a semi-narrow throat and backbore to give you a solid tonal centre without losing richness. Youll notice a focused response that stays consistent across the instruments range making it easier to maintain control in both high and low passages. With its carefully considered weight and standard rim shape it feels stable and familiar on the lips supporting longer playing sessions without added strain.
