Which Schlagwerk cajon should I buy?

If you’re choosing your first cajon or keeping spending down, the Schlagwerk Cajon Agile Base Nature is the sensible starting point from these options. Its supplied best new price is £210.

The Schlagwerk Cajon Precise OS Dark Santos has a supplied best new price of £335 — £125 more. That makes it the bigger investment, but the information provided doesn’t establish differences in construction, tone or features, so a higher price alone isn’t a reason to choose it.

If possible, try both for seat comfort, bass response and how easily you get distinct sounds at your normal playing volume. Those practical checks will tell you more about the right fit than the model names.
