Built with the same celebrated capsule as the sE8 small-diaphragm condenser the BL8 boasts a hand-crafted true condenser capsule with an ultra-thin three-micron gold-sputtered diaphragm delivering superior transient response. This microphone is specifically designed to accurately reproduce low frequencies often eliminating the need for an additional outer kick drum mic. With compatibility for The KellyShu Flatz Isolation System the BL8 is also perfect for touring applications. The BL8 is ideal for a range of applications including ambient micing room micing and recording acoustic pianos. Its 1/2-inch capsule provides exceptional clarity with a rich and immersive stereo stage. Switch between modern and classic voicings using the onboard controls to cater to live or studio settings. Equipped with transformerless Class-A circuitry the BL8 ensures plentiful headroom without any distortion while its low-noise electronics provide transparency and clarity. Built to last the BL8 boasts an all-metal construction with a dent-proof grille and gold-plated XLR contacts ensuring long-term reliability.
