About MyGear
MyGear is a free website where musicians keep track of their gear, compare prices from music retailers and look up facts about instruments and equipment. It is an initiative of Vocc B.V., a company in the Netherlands, founded by Willem Vola.
Music unites. My mission is to help people connect through music — and I want to do my part by helping musicians all over the world manage their gear more easily.

What MyGear does
You can add the gear you own or want to a personal locker, see what it is worth, get price alerts and firmware updates, and check whether pieces of gear connect to each other. Public pages cover products, brands, artists and their gear, weekly top lists of used gear, answers to gear questions and research articles.
How we earn money
MyGear is free to use. When you click through to a retailer and buy something, we may receive a commission through an affiliate link. You do not pay more because of this.
Where prices come from
New and used prices come from the product feeds of our connected retailers (Bax Music, Gear4Music and Reverb), refreshed daily. Every price on a product page names the retailer it comes from.
Where value estimates come from
The value of used gear is estimated from used listings we see for the same product over time. When we do not have enough listings for a reliable estimate, we do not show one. Reviews, ratings and artist gear always name their source.
