How much cheaper is used music gear than new? A category-by-category look
Across 1,396 products we saw both used and new in June–October 2026, the typical used discount ranged from about 10% for electric guitars and live microphones to about 31% for electronic drum kits. Used cases and bags were not cheaper at all.

Conservatory study linked earlier training and Mandarin background with perfect pitch
A contemporary report put absolute-pitch prevalence at 60% among Beijing students who began training at ages 4–5, compared with 14% in Rochester. The comparison shows associations, not causes. [1][2]
