Sabrina Carpenter is an American singer, songwriter and actress from Quakertown, Pennsylvania. She first became known on the Disney Channel series Girl Meets World. After several albums of pop music, she became a worldwide star with "Nonsense", "Feather" and the 2024 smash "Espresso". Her album Short n' Sweet won the Grammy for Best Pop Vocal Album, and its follow-up, Man's Best Friend (2025), kept her at the top of the charts and on sold-out arena tours. Her style mixes glossy pop with disco, 1960s girl-group and country flavours, and cheeky, witty lyrics. She sings and plays guitar and keyboard when writing, and her live shows feature a full band and elaborate retro staging.
