Ibanez is a Japanese musical-instrument brand owned by Hoshino Gakki. Its range includes electric and acoustic guitars, bass guitars, effects pedals, strings, cases and bags. It is particularly associated with solid-body electric guitars, extended-range instruments and equipment used in rock and metal, while also producing hollow-body guitars for jazz and other styles.

The brand spans entry-level to higher-priced instruments. GIO models serve the beginner market, while ranges such as RG, S, AZ and SR cover a variety of guitar and bass designs.
