Thomastik

Thomastik, formally Thomastik-Infeld, is an Austrian string manufacturer founded in Vienna in 1919. It produces strings for bowed instruments including violin, viola, cello and double bass, as well as guitar and bass guitar.

The brand is known for string families including Dominant, Spirocore and Peter Infeld. Dominant is an established synthetic-core range, while Spirocore uses a spiral steel core. Its bowed-string catalogue also includes Alphayue, Vision, Infeld Blue and Dynamo, with options across instrument sizes and playing requirements.
