The Allen & Heath SQ5+ Digital Mixing Desk is a compact professional mixer with a modernised workflow and expanded feature set for live AV broadcast and installed audio. Built around Allen & Heaths 96kHz XCVI processing core the SQ5+ combines ultra-low latency performance with a more modern workflow and significantly expanded processing power. The biggest addition is the inclusion of four dedicated RackUltra FX engines bringing flagship-level reverbs vocal tuning harmonising saturation and pitch processing directly into the mixer without relying on external hardware. A redesigned 9-inch touchscreen and updated dark interface make navigation quicker during busy shows while illuminated encoders and drag-and-drop channel assignment keep operation straightforward in low-light venues. Expanded matrix mixing and advanced automatic mic mixing also make the SQ5+ especially useful for corporate AV conferencing livestreaming and multi-zone installations. Add in multitrack USB recording flexible audio networking and remote control apps and youve got a mixer designed to adapt to demanding modern productions.
