The Arturia Filter MS-20 is a modelled filter plugin taken from the aggressive and distorted character of the MS-20 synthesizer. Modelled on the abrasive filter and distortion circuits of the classic MS-20 synthesiser it gives you everything from rubbery bass shaping to screaming resonant sweeps and full-on saturation. The dual filter modes and flexible routing options let you completely reshape drums synths vocals and samples with gritty texture and punch. Modern modulation tools push the effect further. A built-in envelope follower function generator and 16-step sequencer make it easy to add rhythmic movement evolving sweeps or animated distortion to static sounds. Stereo offset controls also help widen instruments and effects without overcomplicating your workflow. And thanks to the knob-per-function layout you can quickly dial in dramatic changes while keeping deeper sound design tools close at hand when you need them.
