Built from Attacks 7 mil Dynaflex film it responds easily to light touches making it well suited to pianissimo playing where detail matters. The thin clear construction keeps the sound bright and melodic helping each note speak clearly without extra effort.A pressure-fitted steel hoop holds the head firmly in place even under demanding tuning changes. That added hoop mass also helps extend sustain and tighten tonal focus which is why this model is commonly chosen as a resonant tom head.
