Balanced and well-defined mids. The Celestion CF0617M is a 6.5 mid-range driver with a 1.75 copper-clad aluminium voice coil and ferrite magnet. With a nominal impedance of 8 ohms and a 200 watt continuous power rating the CF0617M faithfully reproduces every detail within the mid frequencies. The perfect choice for a three-way multi-driver speaker. The CF0617M is constructed with a lightweight cast aluminium chassis. Providing structural integrity and ensuring minimal interference with the voice coils ferrite magnet. With a kevlar loaded paper cone the 6.5 driver is able to produce transient responses and superior acoustic performance. Easy to install using the four mounting slots this compact driver is designed to fit cut-outs measuring 5.9. With an enhance frequency range from 300Hz all the way up to 7kHz the Celestion CF0617M mid-range driver is the ideal complement high and low frequency drivers.
