The Denis Wick Heritage Cornet Mouthpiece Silver Plated 2B is for brass band players soloists and advancing cornet musicians. It uses the same sizing as the Denis Wick Classic series but reworks the weight balance to change how the mouthpiece responds.Additional mass is placed closer to the throat and base of the cup helping to centre the sound and add focus. To balance this the upper walls and rim are carefully thinned which makes articulation feel lighter and more secure particularly in the upper register. This combination supports a colourful controlled tone without feeling restrictive.The 2B size is a popular middle-ground option offering a good balance between flexibility and stability for section and solo playing. Finished in silver plate the mouthpiece feels smooth on the embouchure and provides a clean direct response that works well in rehearsals concerts and contests.
