The 14 x 6.5 shell provides a powerful sound that dominates the mix. When tuned up the 14 x 6.5 snare provides warm tones while a lower tuning results in a fatter dirtier tone. Easy to use satisfying to play. The Artisan Series Seamless Aluminium Snare Drum is fitted with a Flip-Drop style throw-off allowing you to instantly drop the snare wires and achieve a mixture of timbres.
