This snare is topped off with a 2.3mm triple-flanged hoop providing a warmer and rounder tone with added durability. The 14 x 6.5 shell size provides a full-bodied powerful tone with an exceptional projection that is right at home on any stage. Easy to use satisfying to play. The Gregg Bissonnette Signature Snare Drum is fitted with a slide-lever throw-off allowing you to instantly drop the snare wires. This enables you to drop the snare wires mid-performance achieving a mixture of timbres.
