The ESP LTD EXL-7 Baritone Black Metal is a seven-string baritone built for extended-range playing combining a mahogany body with a maple neck and set-thru construction. Its 27" scale provides the longer platform required for the instruments extended range while the Thin U neck keeps the feel streamlined. A Makassar ebony fretboard with a 400mm radius and 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets provides a smooth hard-wearing surface thats ideal for precise riffs wide bends and technical lead work. A single Seymour Duncan Mortal Coil 7 3-Voice active bridge pickup keeps the electronics focused while providing three selectable voices for flexibility. Control is stripped back to a volume knob and voice-selection toggle switch making it easy to move between sounds without an elaborate control layout. A TonePros locking Tune-o-Matic bridge and and tailpiece provide a solid fixed setup complemented by LTD locking tuners. Black hardware completes the aggressive aesthetic for an instrument that looks and plays like a metal machine should.
