The Instant Flanger Mk II delivers the unmistakable sound of vintage hardware flanger units as a convenient and indistinguishable plug-in. Painstakingly modelled every aspect of the original hardware unit has been convincingly recreated to provide the authentic vintage experience down to all the discrepancies and irregularities of hardware units. Using a combination of proprietary DSP processing and analog recreation the Instant Flanger presents a faithful recreation of the very first Eventide Instant Flanger hardware unit with an indistinguishable sound. With three different settings you can achieve a wide variety of different sounds from subtle doubling and modulations to extreme flanging and wide-open stereo spreading. Brought into the music studio in 1976 the Eventide Instant Flanger was designed to emulate the phenomenon of hardware tape manipulation and tape flanging. Using bucket brigade chips the Instant Flanger Mk II was designed around time-delay circuitry yielding deep and luscious flanging effects that have made their way onto some of the biggest records of the 70s and 80s. Now through immaculate sonic recreation you can achieve the unmistakable sounds of tape flanging in your mixes with a host of modern features to suit the workflow of contemporary mixing engineers.
