Finished in Faded Violin Burst with an extreme ageing treatment it captures the look and feel of a Tele thats seen decades of hard touring and studio work. The 2-piece select ash body delivers the unmistakable snap and bite of a classic Blackguard while the flash coat lacquer allows the wood to resonate freely giving you a lively responsive tone with plenty of character and depth. A 1-piece quartersawn maple neck shaped to a 1957 Soft "V" profile provides a substantial yet comfortable grip paired with a 9.5 inch radius for a slightly more forgiving feel than vintage spec. Narrow tall frets make bends easier while keeping a traditional playing response. Loaded with Custom Shop hand-wound 50–51 Blackguard pickups this Tele delivers everything from sharp cutting bridge tones to warm rounded neck sounds.
