Alnico 2 magnets help produce a warm attack and smooth midrange while Formvar magnet wire enhances high-frequency detail for extra sparkle and definition.Shellac potting helps reduce unwanted feedback without dulling the top end preserving the pickups natural openness and responsiveness. The reverse-wound reverse-polarity middle pickup keeps positions 2 and 4 quieter by cancelling hum making it useful for stage and studio setups alike. Staggered pole pieces help maintain balanced output across all six strings while period-correct cloth wiring and fibre bobbin construction deliver authentic Fender Custom Shop styling.
