The Gewa Novita E-Cello is ideal for cellists who want to explore the exciting possibilities of an electric instrument. Combining traditional cello design with modern looks the Novitas carbon frame emulates the same shape and measurements as a classical cello. This cello will feel instantly familiar to you as soon as you pick it up. Furthermore the Ulsa spike can be extended to 72cm allowing you to play even while standing. Its open-pore lacquer ensures that the natural grain of the linden body and maple back remain visible too. Using natural high-quality wood produces a warm and authentically acoustic timbre. Its specially developed Gewa pickup installed in the bridge provides a full-bodied sound that can be tailored and fine-tuned using the tone-shaping controls. You can even use the auxiliary input to practice alongside backing tracks. The included Larsen Aurora strings further enhances the sound and playing experience. With a steel core these strings project very well and are extremely responsive to the bow. Your Novita can also be carried in any of Gewas standard cello cases - no need for a specially designed case.
