The Gibson Custom 1960 Les Paul Junior Double Cut Reissue Ultra Heavy Aged captures one of the most celebrated evolutions of the iconic Les Paul Junior. This Historic Reissue combines the simplicity and attitude of the original with Gibson Custom Shop craftsmanship. A one-piece mahogany body delivers the resonance sustain and midrange punch that made the Junior a favourite while the double-cutaway shape provides easy access to upper frets. Finished in classic TV Yellow and treated with Murphy Labs Ultra Heavy ageing process it looks and feels like a genuine vintage instrument. Built to period-correct specifications the guitar features a solid mahogany neck with a 60s SlimTaper profile an Indian rosewood fingerboard and a single Gibson Custom Dogear P-90 pickup. This minimalist layout delivers remarkable versatility responding directly to playing dynamics and adjustments of the controls. From sparkling cleans to snarling overdrive the Juniors unmistakable voice remains as inspiring today as it was in 1960. Complete with a Brown and Pink Lifton case and certificate of authenticity this model faithfully recreates a Golden Era classic.
