The Gibson Custom 1960 Les Paul Standard Reissue VOS is a masterfully crafted guitar recreates a rock n roll icon. This particular Custom Shop creation showcases a gorgeous AAA flame maple top with a rich caramel-like depth of colour. As part of Gibsons Vintage Original Spec line you can be sure this Les Pauls hardware matches the early 60s with stunning detail. And not only in looks but in feel response and sound too! A pair of Custombucker Alnico III pickups deliver the bite charm and woody tones that youd expect from a pair of genuine PAFs. When it comes to build and craftsmanship the 1960 Les Paul is second to none. With a figured maple top and mahogany body this guitar boasts a stunning iced tea burst finish protected by a nitrocellulose VOS coat. The solid mahogany neck features a 60s slimtaper profile providing a comfortable and fast-playing experience. This is joined to the body using a long tenon and hide glue fit ensuring maximum resonance and sustain. Furthermore the nickel hardware Kluson single line double ring tuning machines and laminated cellulose acetate butyrate pickguard all contribute to the exceptional build quality.
