The Gibson Custom Murphy Lab 1961 ES-335 is a masterfully aged reissue that captures the soul of a true vintage semi-hollow. Featuring a 3-ply maple/poplar/maple body with a solid maple centreblock it delivers superb resonance and sustain. The Heavy Aged finish by the Murphy Lab gives it the look and feel of a well-loved original complete with aged hardware and lacquer checking every inch of this ES-335 is crafted to perfection. Its SlimTaper 60s C neck long tenon joint and Indian rosewood fingerboard provide a fast authentic playing experience. Paired with unpotted Custombucker Alnico 3 pickups and vintage-spec electronics it offers a warm articulate tone with rich harmonics and vintage snap. This is a guitar built for tone and heritage - all wrapped in a striking 60s Cherry finish.
