The Goran Grooves Handy Drums - STUDIO LEGEND is a versatile drum set reminiscent of those used in some of the greatest hit songs from the 70s to current times. This classic kit features the iconic Yamaha Recording Custom that provides an incredibly warm punchy and full-bodied sound with a short sustain making it an ideal choice for pop and rock blues jazz and even country. The STUDIO LEGEND drumset is identical to the one played by Dave Weckl in the 80s and 90s featuring an upgraded RIMS mounting system for the toms giving it the fullest tone fatness and sustain possible. The drumset is fitted with drum heads that produce a deep warm sound with plenty of attack but with short sustain. Additionally the snare drum a custom Goran Grooves maple drum with wooden hoops built about a decade ago adds a unique and distinctive sound to the set separating it from other virtual drum instruments. Handy Drums was recorded using a collection of high-definition mics preamps and converters to capture every nuance and detail in stunning clarity.
