The Gotoh CARD-6 Carbon Fibre Plates for SD91 Machineheads are designed for guitarists fitting compatible Gotoh SD Series tuners. Made from a lightweight robust carbon fibre composite resin each plate features a built-in centring guide to help you position the string post correctly in relation to the tuner bushing. The high-density material also transfers string vibration efficiently into the headstock helping to improve sustain and harmonic response.CARD plates also provide an extra layer of protection during installation. Their base sits slightly thicker than the tuner covers internal cavity creating a spacer between its metal edges and your instrument. This helps protect the headstock finish against damage caused by sharp edges or overtightened mounting screws. Please note that CARD is specifically designed for Gotoh SD Series machineheads so compatibility with other tuner models and brands isnt guaranteed.
