The Gotoh GHL-1 Locking Nut is designed for guitars equipped with double-locking tremolo systems. Its 43mm width matches the common Floyd Rose R3 nut size and is also the standard size supplied with the Gotoh GE1996T double-locking tremolo making it suitable for compatible tremolo installations. The GHL-1 uses rear-mounted bolts that pass through the neck and screw into the underside of the nut. Three different thickness shims are included for setting the appropriate nut height while the supplied string retainer bar helps maintain the correct string angle behind the nut. A screw-hole marking pin and wrench are also included.
