The Guild B-240E Archback Natural is suited to bassists who want a comfortable acoustic bass with strong projection and easy handling. Based on Guilds classic acoustic bass designs it combines a B-Jumbo body shape with a solid Sitka spruce top and arched mahogany back to produce a full balanced sound that stands up well in acoustic settings.The short 30 3/4" scale length and slim C-shape mahogany neck help reduce stretching across the fingerboard making longer playing sessions more comfortable. A pau ferro fingerboard and bridge add durability while the bone nut and saddle support clear note definition. When you need extra volume the Fishman-designed BT-1 pickup system reproduces the instruments natural character through an amplifier with onboard Volume and Tone controls for quick adjustments. Finished in natural satin with a mother-of-pearl rosette the B-240E balances classic styling with practical performance features.
