Loaded with a pair of Guild HB-2 humbuckers featuring Alnico II magnets the Starfire I DC produces warm PAF-inspired tones with exceptional clarity articulation and dynamic response. Push/pull coil-split controls greatly expand the tonal range by unlocking brighter single-coil-style textures. The mahogany neck uses Guilds Modern Thin U profile for a smooth and comfortable feel while the Indian rosewood fingerboard provides warmth.
