Featuring a stylish single-cutaway body with an arched maple top back and sides it delivers lively resonance airy sustain and impressive tonal depth across a wide range of musical styles. Its chambered mahogany centre block improves sustain while reducing unwanted feedback during louder performances making it equally capable on stage and in the studio. Finished with elegant Guild styling throughout the Starfire I Jet 90 blends classic aesthetics with modern versatility. Loaded with three Guild Franz P-90 Soapbar pickups featuring Alnico II magnets the Starfire I Jet 90 offers everything from smooth vintage jazz warmth to snarling rock tones and crisp articulate cleans. A six-way rotary selector switch provides an extensive range of pickup combinations for maximum tonal flexibility while the master volume and tone controls keep operation simple and intuitive. The mahogany neck features Guilds Modern Thin U profile for a smooth and comfortable feel while the Indian rosewood fingerboard provides warmth and effortless response beneath the fingers.
