The Hokema B11 Melody Electro Kalimba is an expressive and uplifting hand percussion instrument tuned to the G major scale. Its 11 meticulously crafted metal tines offer a range of lower register notes as well as a full scale in the upper register allowing both intricate melodies and simple accompanying tones to be played right out of the box. The pre-selected tuning of the instrument ensures players of all ages and abilities can simply pick-up-and-play with no intonation worries. A built-in Piezo pickup system allows simple direct connection to any amp PA system or recording medium via a regular 1/4" jack socket without the need for a microphone. Its handmade American black cherry wood resonator box amplifies the tines organic lyrical tone imparting a singing earthy resonance for a relaxing dream-like overall sound thats ideal for sound therapy sessions or simply chilling out at home or in the office.
