The KNA DB-1 Portable Double Bass Pickup is a user-friendly portable bridge-mounted piezo that accurately duplicates the double bass tone requiring no modifications to your instrument. It features a lightweight wooden-cased piezo sensor that is installed in the eye slot of the bridge held firmly by friction. This design ensures maximum tonal sensitivity and transmission.Included with the DB-1 are neatly-finished shim discs that guarantee the perfect fit even for sensors in narrow bridges. The 1/4" socket jack which is securely attached to the tailpiece using a Velcro band is tailpiece-mounted for convenience. One of the standout features of the DB-1 is its passive design which faithfully reproduces the natural sound of the instrument without needing a battery offering an ideal blend of functionality and simplicity for double bass players.
