This means that the bongos can be played with drumsticks as well as your hands - offering clear tones with ultimate projection. Made from a special aluminium alloy the LP Giovanni Compact Bongos sound extremely close to standard bongos responding perfectly to intricate hand patterns and drum stick rolls. Featuring a portable shell-less design - the 7 1/4 and 8 5/8 LP Giovanni Compact Bongos are perfect for both practice and performance. These bongos are fitted with synthetic heads which are tuneable using any standard drum key.
