Mapex have taken everything theyve learnt about making great sounding cutting edge snare drums. Then using modern technology innovative features and good old fashioned drum craft - they add just that little bit of extra modern flair. With a 6mm 6-ply maple wood shell the Mapex Black Panther Equinox snare drum offers a powerful deep tone with excellent projection – perfect for any stage. The 2.7mm deep snare bed graduation offers a dry articulate and controlled snare tone. This tone is further controlled and enhanced by the 4-ply maple resonance rings. These help to provide the perfect snare tone for a range of styles.
