Aside from its exquisite construction you can be sure that it sounds as good as it looks. With a top-quality hand-selected goat skin head the djembe provides the crisp sharp slaps and deep bass tones that these popular goblet drums are known for. It is carved from a single log of plantation-grown mahogany wood for an authentic look and feel - demanding attention whenever you join a drum circle. Its mahogany body is housed within a series of 40 5mm-thick pre-stretched nylon ropes. Not only do these look the part but they also make tuning simple.
