The Meinl Byzance 15" Big Apple Dark Hi-hats are completely hand-hammered unlathed hi-hat cymbals with a raw vintage visual style. Offering tonal balance and dark articulation the thin depths and unlathed surfaces make for natural earthy tones with dark tones and cutting articulate stick definition.The wash of the hi-hats doesnt open up immediately but when it does the projection is loud and intensely dark with a gritty vintage sound that fades out quickly thanks to the smaller bell and thinner design.
