This Energy Bowls set also includes two different types of mallet so you can experience various timbres depending on how you choose to hit the bowls. There are two main ways to use a singing bowl you can wipe a resonant mallet around the exterior to create a consistent and focused resonance or you can hit the side for a louder and more harmonic sound that has a very slow release. With three bowls and mallet varieties you can really mix up the sounds to find the ones that are most useful for you. Also included with each singing bowl is the felt ring necessary to allow the bowl to resonate freely and a soft Meinl branded cover for when the bowl isnt in use.
