The Meyer G Series Tenor Saxophone Mouthpiece Rubber M6M gives your horn a sweet mellow 50s style tone. Designed for easy blowing and a classic sound this mouthpiece is perfect for recreating tones from the Cool Jazz scene such as that of Stan Getz and Paul Desmond. The hard rubber construction gives a classic rich resonant sound and a medium tip opening (0.081") balances evenness of intonation with an ability to bend and add inflection to notes - ideal for technical playing and soloing. Meyer mouthpieces have been produced in the USA since 1916. Since then they have gained acclaim from jazz saxophonists the world over and are particularly sought after by those pursuing dark sweet tones and free-blowing responsiveness.
