The Muse Kinetics SoftStep 3 is ideal for musicians and performers needing hands-free highly expressive MIDI control across multiple setups. Each of its ten pads features 3D pressure detection allowing you to assign the X Y and Z axes to different MIDI CCs for detailed and dynamic control of effects and parameters. This means you can bend pitch tweak filters or trigger loops all from a single pad.Alongside USB-C and TRS MIDI outputs for connecting to synths and MIDI hardware the SoftStep 3 also provides two CV outputs making it a flexible choice for modular and Eurorack users. An expression pedal input further extends control options letting you blend foot and pad control for more complex performances. With easy programming via the SoftStep Editor software it adapts quickly to a wide range of creative workflows.
