The Nuvo Recorder+ features a black body with pink keys and is perfect for young children learning their first instrument. The patented silicone key covers allow the tone holes to be fully closed producing a clear tone. These silicone key covers coupled with the larger tone holes help beginners produce a much warmer tone compared to learning on a traditional wooden recorder. Unlike other recorders the Nuvo Recorder+ is made from a mixture of plastic and silicone which enables it to be regularly washed in warm soapy water. On the reverse of the Recorder+ is an adjustable thumbrest which is ideal to help players of all ages support the instrument comfortably.
