The 4-ply 5mm shell is made from eucalyptus maple and mahogany provides a well-balanced tone with great power and projection. A 4-ply reinforcement ring enhances this by increasing the sustain and low-end of the drum. Overall the Masterworks snare drum offers a versatile studio-ready sound that drummers crave. A premium shell is incomplete without high-quality hardware to match. The snare drum is fitted with a 1.6mm Fat Tone hoop to increase the resonance and the tuning stability of the drum. This provides added consistency ensuring your tuning will remain the same every time you play. These hoops also offer a perfectly flat playing surface – ideal for rimshot and cross-stick playing.
