Pops Double Bass Rosin is a light sticky rosin that is hand mixed in small batches in Houston Texas. This rosin was originally created by Len "Pops" Manno who played bass for the Houston Symphony for many years. His recipe is still used today and the business is still family run. It is a great choice for all uses whether youre an orchestral player or soloist - this rosin is recommended by many professional players. Well known for being very sticky only a small number of swipes along the bow hair is needed for a good grip on the strings for many hours. This makes this rosin very long lasting and often players will end up buying a new cake of rosin before it fully runs out! This is a very light rosin so it is recommended to store in a cool place and away from direct sunlight as it can easily melt. It should also be stored upright where possible as the top of the cake will "flow" if left on its side.
