The PSP Nexcellence Plugin is a classic-sounding spring reverb emulation basing its sound on the classic Necklace style reverb hardware units. Spring Reverbs are renowned for their unique tonality with a distinctive bouncy sound that was popularised in the 60s. Providing a rich sound complete an intuitive interface Nexcellence can be used for a variety of applications from adding a subtle shine to vocals all the way up to saturated madness. The interface itself is reminiscent of vintage hardware units with retro-style knobs and LEDs for the input and output signals. Unlike conventional hardware units Nexcellence includes a wide range of fine-tune controls that give you full reign over the spring reverb. Change the overall tonality using the Color knob or change the way the spring reacts using the three-position mode switch. A high-pass filter is included as well as a three-band EQ and the ability to swap stereo channels. Not only that it features a wide range of presets curated by leading sound designers to inspire your creativity.
