The Raising Jake Limited-S DeEsser is a versatile dynamics processor designed for mixing and mastering offering precise sibilance control and high-frequency management. Using FIR-based detection it seamlessly reduces sibilance without attack and decay settings ensuring a transparent sound suitable for balancing vocals and managing harsh frequencies across audio projects. This makes Limited-S ideal for both music and film work. The fixed threshold approach captures only the loudest sibilance peaks avoiding overcompression or lisping and its versatile stereo modes allow for processing of just the mids sides or left/right channels. High Lift control enhances brightness while managing highs making it suitable for brightening full mixes and controlling excessive high frequencies. The built-in sidechain input adds further flexibility allowing one signal source to duck the highs in another keeping vocals clear during complex mixes.
