The Raising Jake MB3X is a multi-band compressor plugin emulating a Rocksonics hardware unit from the 1990s with enhanced features only found on the plugin. This mastering-grade compressor/limiter provides low distortion and a smooth musical sound. It uses multiple RMS-level detectors for program-dependent compression across three bands separated by constant amplitude Bessel crossovers that eliminate pre-ringing and phase distortion. The Hilbert function reduces THD to inaudible levels ensuring clear audio fidelity. An A/B memory recall feature enables saving and tweaking two sets of settings making project management efficient. Additionally the plugin offers a variable saturation control blending harmonic distortion for added presence and giving users a tool that provides a balanced polished final mix for any project. The plugin also offers a wet/dry mix control for both compressor and main output allowing for parallel compression techniques.
