The Rave Generation Rave Distortion 2 is a hardware modelled distortion plugin inspired by circuits from guitar pedals synthesizers mixing consoles EQs and hardware filter banks. Built for producers who want gritty textures modular-style filtering and flexible tonal control in their sound design or mixing workflows Rave Distortion 2 features two distinct distortion stages each offering its own unique response and blend control allowing you to stack saturation for complex harmonic results. The built-in high-pass and low-pass filters are modelled after transistor ladder circuits delivering smooth sweeps and resonance that can mimic modular synth behaviours. Its onboard EQ section brings additional clarity or character with variable-width peak bands ideal for shaping midrange energy. The LFO is tempo-syncable letting you animate filter movements rhythmically across your track. This plugin also includes quality-of-life tools like GUI scaling undo/redo and an internal limiter to help streamline your sessions.
